There's a huge fundamental difference between a "soap" and a "syndet cleanser". Once you understand the the first ingredient listed in a bar of soap, whether it says sodium cocoate, sodium tallowate, sodium palmate or just plain says "saponified oils" - it means that its cheap, the pH is through the roof, and it will strip away your skin's acid mantle and cause dryness. You will find the same first ingredient listed in bars that are selling for anywhere between $1 and $30 per bar. The worst part is.... They all cost just cents on the dollar to make.

HARP uses Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate as our base cleanser. This is a scientifically proven gentle, pH balanced syndet cleanser. You can take our word for it, or you can look it up. We're confident you'll never go back to the old stuff!
